Late Saturday night in South Strabane Township, a one-car collision claimed the lives of two 17-year-olds.
According to the Washington County Coroner’s office, Justin Crawford, 17, of Washington, Pennsylvania, was traveling east on East Maiden Street around 11:18 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the westbound lane, and hit a tree. . RUSH. RUSH. RUSH. RUSH. RUSH. RUSH.
Nevaeh Sheets, a 17-year-old passenger from Washington, Pennsylvania, also passed away at the site. The coroner’s office stated that it is unclear whether either passenger was buckled up.
Autopsies will determine the reasons of death. The South Strabane Police Department is investigating the collision, which occurred close to 3025 East Maiden St.
